Albany Contracting Group is a family-owned renovation company in Hamilton. We've been renovating Hamilton homes since 1999. Most of this site is photos of jobs we've finished, because a photo says more than we can.
Shown, not told
Any contractor can say they do good work. We'd rather you look.
So every job here is told in photos, frame by frame: doors still off, the mess in the middle, then done. The captions say what the frame shows. Nothing more.
When you're ready to see more, the photos are all in one place.
The family
Albany is family-owned. Kim Garnet is Company President. His son, Joey Garnet, is Managing Director of Sales and Operations.
Kim Garnet holds a Master Builders Licence in Hamilton.

The office
Our office is at 875 Main St W, Unit 200, in Hamilton. It's in Westdale, near McMaster.
It's an office in a plaza on Main Street West, not a mailbox. Our phone is (289) 860-0200, for calls and texts.
How a project runs
- You tell us about the job. Call, send the short form, or text us a photo of it.
- We call you back. We talk it through and set a time to come and see it.
- A free consultation in your home. We look at the job with you. That's where you get your price, once we've seen it.
- No obligation. If it's not the right time, that's fine. You'll still know what the job involves.
Then the work. On-time delivery, and a warranty on most items.
